Modular Modeling System

That’s why nHance Technologies has developed the Modular Modeling System (MMS), an extremely effective, dynamic simulation software package with proven applications throughout the world. Its uses include training, evaluation of plant performance, modifications, control system design, and check-out and plant analysis.

The Modular Modeling System has an extensive library of hundreds of pre-engineered mathematical models for fossil and nuclear power plant and control components such as pipes, pumps, boilers, turbines,etc. Each plant component module has been formulated from first principles and is pre-engineered; that means the formulation, coding, testing, and documentation of each module has been performed and completed by engineers experienced in the simulation of plant components. Users of MMS benefit from the investment in the engineering effort made to develop these modules because the system permits less experienced users to develop their own high-fidelity dynamic simulations; plus, the system’s first-principle formulation for mass and energy balances permits performance predictions over a wide range of normal and abnormal plant behavior.
