Control logic may be simulated in several ways. One way is to use the generic
control functions modeled by MMS, where the user bases his control model on the
plant control logic diagrams.
Another, more efficient, option is to use an automated control logic
translator, where the control system configuration files are processed to
generate the appropriate control-function calls for each point; the resulting
code is called the "translated" code and is then integrated with the process
